Breakthrough In Prion Amplification Brings Hope Of Blood Test For Variant CJD
CJD / vCJD / Mad Cow Disease Researchers have shown that a recently developed laboratory method to amplify prions (Protein Misfolding Cyclic Amplification) can be applied to variant CJD (Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease).
