Anavex 7-1037 Reduces Reduced Tumor Growth By 69% In Pre-Clinical Studies
Cancer / Oncology Anavex Life Sciences Corp. ("ANAVEX") (OTCBB: AVXL) announced that ANAVEX 7-1037 has demonstrated its ability to significantly delay the growth of cancerous tumors in patient-derived xenografts during advanced pre-clinical studies. The human tumor xenografts were developed in ANAVEX labs using a sample taken from a person suffering from clear cell sarcoma. Clear cell sarcoma is a rare type of melanoma (skin cancer) that is difficult to treat.
